<b>Location.</b> The Resort Suites of Scottsdale (Ariz.) stands within six miles of several premier golf courses such as Grayhawk, the Boulders and Sunridge. The resort is two miles from Kierland Commons shops and horseback riding ventures at WestWorld. Scottsdale's fashionable downtown shops are 10 miles away, and visitors are 20 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. <br><b>Hotel Features.</b> The Resort Suites of Scottsdale staff can arrange golf tee times at Phoenix and Scottsdale courses, including discounted rates and preferred tee times at the 13 courses that partner with the resort. After all scores have been tallied, guests can retire to one of four freeform outdoor pools, three spa tubs or the fitness center. The resort features a business center with two computers and wireless Internet access. Gordon's offers patio and inside seating where guests may choose from a menu of hot breakfast buffet items, light lunch fare and delectable dinner dishes such as chili-rubbed salmon and green-chili pork stew. The adjoining bar features golf-themed décor. Live music is available one night per week except during the summer. Complimentary transportation is available within five miles of the property. <br><br><b>Guestrooms.</b> The Resort Suites of Scottsdale provides 334 air- conditioned suites and traditional guestrooms in 14 Spanish-style, red tile-roofed casitas. Casitas are accessible via landscaped walkways and organized into three quads around the pools. Suites feature separate living and sleeping areas, sofa beds, washers and dryers and full kitchens. Wireless Internet access is available in select rooms. All rooms and suites are smoke-free. <br><br><b>Expert Tip.</b> The area boasts nearly 200 golf courses that range in design from traditional, rolling fairways to challenging, cactus-studded desert. The PGA Tournament fills hotels in January for the annual Phoenix Open.
